KATY MARCHANT;  DIRECTOR, BAGPIPES, PIPE AND SALTERIO, RECORDERS, MASK MAKER

Katy Marchant has directed Daughters of Elvin since 1996.  In 2001 she received a commission from the National Trust to create a series of shows based on a medieval circus of fantastical masked beasts.  In 2003 she received a bursary from the Arts Council to further her mask making which included a trip to the USA to work with Beckie Kravetz of the Los Angeles Opera Company.
