ARMOREL HAMILTON

I was trained as an illustrator and gained a B.A. in 2003, since then I have created many illustrations for various publications.
I have also sculpted for theatre productions and film, preffering to illustrate in a sculptural way using photography as the binding medium.
This is now my third exhibition and am excited to have recieved an endorsement from Brian and Wendy Froud last year.
The realm of Faerie has weaved its way in and around my life ever since I can remember.
It is now second nature to work with faeries every day.
I began making creatures in this way in 2005 and over time they have evolved into thier own groups within thier own world.
Now it feels almost as if they create themselves.
They are personifications of the emotion and beauty in all our hearts and minds.
I am inspired by my children who always express love, laughter and honesty.
Animals too are very influential when it comes to my inspiration as they flourish in all realms and pepper our lives with chance.
I hope for my creations to act as a tool for anyone who is already in touch with faerie, or even in doubt, to feel conected if, even only for a glimpse, of the majic that runs through us all
